The Tourists gained 41 shots (points) in the morning draw.
At the 4th end broomstacking break, the Tourists were treated to a mix of Glayva Liqueur, Blended Whisky and Green Ginger Wine, known locally as a “Clyde Steamer” after a locally famous steamship that went from Glasgow to Clyde
The Tourists dressed in their formal F-1 attire at the Greenacres Curling Club and rode the coach to the Pollok Golf Club.
Pollok Curling Club started in 1879 but the golf club wasn’t established until 1892. The Pollok Curling club has used the golf course facilities for many years and one of the Curling trophies housed at Pollok Golf Course goes back to the 1780s.
Tomorrow, the Tourists have an on bus time of 8:45 to head to Hamilton for 2 draws.
